At first they were considered half beasts until their population grew so widely they were considered their own kind. They are dark hearted creatures of the North. They live in cold, icy, and tall mountains. Their harsh enviorment keeps unwanted guests away from their citadel where they roost. They are feared by most other species and they side with the Black Fangs. Their rivals are typically the gryphons.
